About me

I was born in 1973 in the former East Germany. After my parents divorced when I was a young child, I grew up with my mum and two younger brothers. I loved being outdoors in nature, and my refuge was my aunt’s farm.

As a child, I took piano and flute lessons. During my teenage years, my love of music and painting became increasingly apparent.

As a young woman, I spent a lot of time cycling in the northern countries of Europe. My love and attachment to these countries later led me to discover my own instrument – the harp. With a little help from a harp maker, I then built my own harp. I wanted to play Irish, Scandinavian and Breton pieces in particular. Harp workshops with various harpists such as Christoph Pampuch, Elisabeth Pawelke, Shiobhan Armstrong from Ireland and Erik Ask-Upmark from Sweden gave me a lot of inspiration.

I explored my artistic side mainly on my own. Various short courses helped me to develop my skills. As a teacher at a special school, I was also able to teach art.

Music and painting often helped me through difficult times in my life.

It is wonderful to see how people react to my music and paintings, even if someone just falls asleep to the gentle sounds of the harp.

Now my love for the north has led me to Sweden. Together with my husband, who often accompanies me musically, I have already had my first performances in Sweden.

In October 2025, I opened my first small art exhibition at the Gyllene Svanen Gallery in Svanskog, Sweden – accompanied by harp music, of course. Further small performances are planned.

I believe that I have already touched the first dear people here with my music.

And I am very excited to see how my journey will continue…
